Recently, serial crimes have been happening in our district. People pretending to be workers from Unicom trying to deceive residents. Following are some of the they are know to commonly use:
1. They will call you (be it a machine-operator or human- operators) to con our residents, saying that you have outstanding telephone fees. Lots of people have been cheated out of their personal information, such as : phone number, ID number, bank account details and even cash.
2. They will also go to the residents’ house to try and swindle you, pretending to be Unicom workers, claiming that Unicom has been restricted and that the monthly fee has been exempted. They will charge you for a fee only and you can use it forever without being charged again.

Unicom company will never do the following: request your personal information or ask for your personal account for any reason, nor will we go to your house to accept fees. Please be aware of this and identify their identify if strangers come to your house.
